I’m currently working at an institute dedicated to teach English in many levels. I have a very diverse group as I have students of different ages, social and educational backgrounds. I must take into account those aspects because it is important to notice that those features mold the personality of every student. I consider that it’s hard to work in that way since I have to develop methods that can be useful and appropriate for them due to the fact that my students are from fifth grade to tenth grade. Anyway, I have been trying to make a good job.
As I mentioned before the main problem in my class are its differences among students. However, I have been noticed that there are three different groups there. Each group is conformed by students that share some features like gender, social or educational background. For example, there is a group constituted by male students that are studying at the same school in the same grade. I can say that group of students has a positive development in the process of the class since they are very perceptive, respectful, responsible and active. Nonetheless, not all the groups have the same quality of students since there is one of those groups conformed by male students that are in different schools but in almost the same grades. They are the youngest group in my class and they are a problematic group since they do not follow the rules and instructions all the time.
